Connect MGcamd with CCcam

    Hi! I'm new to all this so I'm trying to get my bearings straight on mgcamd and how it works.
    My problem is this, I have a miraclebox enigma2 based unit - and I use mgcamd to connect to the code server i have setup. Everything works fine.

    But
    As soon as I install the plugin needed to enable the internal card-readers for using a local card, mgcamd no longer decodes my other channels. It is as if the internal readers override the mgcamd. The plugin I install for the internal card readers is this one http://miraclefiles.net/index.php?download=136 (miraclebox-plugin-cardreader_1.0_mips32el.ipk)

    It was working earlier on but i cannot replicate that any more. (Maybe because of some updates?)

    Do I need to connect these two things to eachother somehow, or how is it intended to be setup? Any help appreciated!

    If its enigma 2 based box just use oscam for cardreading and cardsharing. Is this sh4 based receiver?

    So if i setup the box to use oscam instead it should be able to use the internal readers as well?

    Yes, oscam can act like a client and as a cardreader at the same time. You have one oscam binary under download section of this forum.

    Excellent, thank you. Is the setup much different than mgcamd?

    (Thank you for helping out a noob in this field :) I know it can be frustrating)

    Yes, quite different. But you get used to. Check my articles about oscam on my blog. I will try to write another one which will explain basics for noobs :)
