Dreambox dm500 hd v2 or vu+ solo 2 linux twin satellite

    Which of the following receivers is best

    DreamBox DM500 HD V2
    or
    vu+ solo 2 Linux Twin Satellite

    On which it is difficult to Instal CCCam for card sharing?

    Appreciate any help...

    Vu solo2 is better, also OpenPLi doesnt work on 500hd v2. Cccam can be easily installed on both boxes.

    Does the Solo2 has a smart card slot? If not how would I use a card?

    Also would the Vu solo2 work just like a freesat stb - I have a TechniSat HD stb and a motorised dish. Would I be able to scan for free channels on various satellite?

    Yes, it does have CI slot and yes you will be able to search for FTA channels. Make sure you buy Vu+ on reputable website.

    Which image for V+ Solo2? Would I be able for card sharing with the default Enigma 2 image or do I have to install another image like OpenPli, Blackhole etc? Which Image would you suggest?

    I use OpenPLi on all my receivers. Its the best in my opinion.
