How to scan telemach kabel with dreambox

    hello together,
    i have here a old dm500c with enigma1.
    this i use with oscam as client, the server box is a dm800se.
    everything is running fine, the only problem.
    the 500c didn`t find some channels, for example zdf.
    the dm800se find it? i thing i have to change something but what?

    it enough the frequency range settings from telemach?
    and how many programs are available with dvb s

    With DVB-S none, you'll need DVB-C to receive catv channels.

    Dm500c is a cable box, and the 800see to. I receive with the 800see 300 more it s a he box the 500c is just a digital cable receiver and I miss on it zdf and rtl

    @trekstore, you're mixing pears and apples... you've asked; "how many programs are available with dvb s".
    Dvb s just stays for a digital video broadcasting over satellite.

    sorry you are right, there was a mistake from my side.
    still i am trying to find zdf and rtl on telemach with dvb-c dreambox 500c.
    this box is not a hd box just a digital one.

    maybe zdf is in mpeg4 format?

    Hey,
    no it isn't.
    After searching and searching I found a suitable cable.xml, and after the channel scan --> tataa all channels are there.
